Look Up! Look Up!

Hey readers near and far!

It is really hard to write a meaningful blog when all I want to do is bask in the beauty that is this beautiful Spring afternoon. The birds are chirping, the sun is setting and my mind is elsewhere as usual. It is almost impossible to stay focused with all of Mother Nature's friends using my senses to steal focus. But nonetheless, here I am taking it all in when all the while trying to put my latest blog together. 

It's called "A Mile In These Shoes" and the inspiration behind it is based on one incredibly bad day and a conversation me and my roommate Berto had a few weeks ago. I'm finding it very therapeutic to write because it is helping me with my journey to understanding myself more and answering some of my questions I had concerning my past and the decisions I made in the past three years. I also talk about my current family situation which almost tore me and all my hard work apart. 

This blog will probably be one of my favorites only because it's real and honest and kind of fell from the sky and into my lap. I want it to mean something and touch the lives of anyone else who is struggling with the demons of their past while trying to maintain a normal life in the present.
